Use folding Anti-Slip Cardboards with ridges to prevent slipcover from sliding on the couch. Tuck the excess fabric into the grooves between the armrest and seat using folding cardboards. Tuck the cardboards as deep as possible to prevent them from popping out – this will help to keep the final look in place.

Use elastic straps with buckles to prevent slipcover from sliding on the sofa and hold it in place. Clip it on at the bottom of the slipcover. Then stretch it underneath the sofa and clip it on the slipcover at the backside. Use elastic straps as needed for any other parts of the couch, in case the fabric doesn’t cover the couch completely.
